DESCRIPTION:
The project for the common areas of Cinco Lagos is not conceived as the repetition of a standard building, but rather as the implementation of a flexible architectural system. The three Club Houses share the same geometric and material DNA, providing a strong and recognizable institutional identity to the entire neighborhood. However, the logic of working with a system—rather than repetitive buildings—allows each Club House to adapt to its specific location within the master plan, evolving its geometric logic to capture the best views of the lakes or to protect itself from prevailing winds.
Each Club House breaks down its program into two differentiated functional packages that revolve around a central core: an open "Landscape Hall" that acts as a point for spontaneous social gathering. In this way, upon entering, the user does not step into an enclosed building, but rather undergoes a transitional experience where the landscape of Cinco Lagos permeates the architecture.
The chosen materiality, a lightweight steel framing structure clad in metal sheets and wood, responds to the idea of placing ethereal pieces that integrate with the landscape without disrupting it.
The three Club Houses of Cinco Lagos are not merely service buildings; they are landmarks within the landscape. Through an architecture of clear and articulated volumes, the project achieves a friendly scale for the residents, efficiency in the use of resources, and a total integration with the neighborhood's lacustrine environment.
